Surprise!

Last week I was asked by a lovely friend of mine if I would make a card and co-ordinating gift bag for her mum. She wanted to invite her to her very own 70th celebration.  The family are taking her away for a short break

and the little gift bag was going to be filed with a brochure and maps ( sort of clues ) to where she was going! A lovely idea! Well this is what I came up with and I'm happy to say it was perfect! I really enjoyed making it for her and the fancy fold card technique was given by Julie kettlewell. (SU Demo)

Gift Packaging Class...

White Christmas..

Love this class...unfortunately it's full but just wanted to share a little sparkle with you. The stamp set is available in the annual catalogue! It's a lovely stamp set...the ideas are endless..the animals are soooo cute, lovin the polar bear!

Season to Season Wreath Class

Tuesday 6th October at 10am...£30 come and spend a couple of hours making this gorgeous wreath which you can hang straight away as it includes Autumn and Halloween elements. Gift Bag Punch Board...

How clever is this... For £18 this little gadget makes box making a breeze, you can make it in 3 sizes as shown and it does all the scoring for you so you get professional finishes every time. I made a Christmas one as an egsample of the finished make! Love it! Full instructions are given in the board. These kind of bags cost a fortune on the high street but now you can make them for every occassion!

Tin of Cards...

A lovely project...an upcoming class on Tuesday 27th October 7.30pm-10pm £30. This would make a lovely gift for someone...you will be making 16 cards to go inside all co-ordinating, a really easy kit with lovely results...there is plenty of room in the tin to add more cards...a perfect solution to store your handcrafted projects in!

Lego Birthday Party...

We have just celebrated a 6th Birthday and what a great party it was.  Here are a few pictures of the party including the Lego mans head birthday cake!  The Lego boxes were the party bags and the water bottle labels were purchased from Etsy..

Butterfly Basics...

Just love this clever fold on the birthday card using the very popular butterfly basics set! A very

elegant card and co-ordinating mini box card...all from SU! This is the first of my Autumn classes and I think the colour base of crumb cake does it justice.

One Set.....lots of uses...!

This must be the most versatile stamp set and Framelits ever from SU! My previous post was making the lovely girly pink set using celebrate today with co-ordinating Framelits...but look at all the other fantastic things you can create by changing the ink colours! Just love the Christmas card...how very clever!

Cottage Greetings...

A very versatile stamp set...I have used it here for the sentiment and added pretty papers and butterflies..these were table gifts for an upcoming class...love the swirly writing !!

Crazy About You...

Just love this stamp set and the amazing amounts of sentiments it comes with...we had an evening hand stamping the box then making the 4x4 cards that co-ordinate to go with it.  We embellished the outside of the box with the flower that is part of the stamp set! Here we used pool party but it would look gorgeous in and bold bright colour. Using the new heavier whisper white card stock makes boxes so much more easier to make.

Water Colour Wishes Card Kit....

If you are new to crafting or you love crafting and want to make a batch of useful cards ( and they are stunning) then this is the kit for you.  Everything is provided in the kit, here are a few pictures of the kit before I have used it and later on I will show you all the lovely cards...you will find this project in the annual catalogue!

Hopeful Thoughts...

This kicks off our summer evening classes...we are making mini cards and using the big shot we will die cut and assemble the berry basket...cute eh! What a lovely gift for someone

I live this stamp set and papers so much...I got carried away with how much I made, live how everything co-ordinates! Two classes are booked up for this lovely project!

Coffee Morning and new Catalogue Launch...

Today it's the start of the new catalogue...I've invited my ladies round to pick up a new catalogue, have a coffee and check out my new classes.  I'm also holding a sale of all my retired stamps and inks...so hopefully they will be able to grab a bargain!
