Sheltering Trees....four seasons in a morning..

Typical English weather does this..believe me..... but I love these cards and this stamp set has to be a favourite! We are doing a class soon making these four lovely cards...looking forward to it..my favourite has to be the spring blossom one!

I love lace...

This is an upcoming workshop trying a new technique...embossing. It was one of the first techniques I learned many moons ago.  These cards are using blackberry bliss, night of navy and early espresso.  Cariad Cards gave me the idea....I think it looks very elegant. Think my ladies will enjoy this one!

Happy Easter....

I have been apart of our local church flower group for 5 years and although I'm no expert I do like a dabble!  I normally offer to arrange flowers in one of the windows or sometimes at the sanctuary but this Easter I offered to have a go at a pedestal arrangement that stands at the entrance to the church...a little bit of coaching from a friend of mine in the village and here it is!  It's not quite perfect but for a first attempt I'm pretty happy!  I find flower arranging quite challenging but it's good to work at something till you can get it right! Happy Easter...X

Lovin the bow builder punch!

We are in the middle of quite a long Easter break so It won't be till the end of April till we are back in full swing..however this is what we will be up too when things get back to 'normal'....I just love the bow builder punch and we are using it here for the card and the gift bag...so versatile and perfect bows every time!

An Easter Crafting Play date...

Earlier this week Frazer invited some of his school pals round to number 43 for some easter crafting and of course an egg hunt oh and a piƱata, they had so much fun here's are a few pics of what they got up to!

Frozen Party Bags...

Anna came round today and made some pretty Frozen Party Bags for her upcoming daughters birthday...thanks to Tara....Anna Cased your original make! My ladies are getting so talented..who would of thought just a year ago non of my ladies crafted! And that's what makes Stampin Up! So much fun!

Lego Class....

Another couple of makes from our recent Lego morning...this stamp set is called boys will be boys and it's super cool! I love the fact this set contains a simple Happy Birthday sentiment! The ladies who attended the class received a table gift (as always) which was a Lego Gift Box and matching tag! They loved it and I really enjoyed the class!

Anyone for T....

I met the lovely Kate from Polly Put The Kettle On and she made these fantastic mugs for when we have a cuppa in the shed! Check out Kate's facebook page she does some wonderful things!

A finished Quilt!

This is a quilt I have just finished! I enjoy sewing but time is always against me!  This took nearly 9 months to complete so you can see I'm not the quickest!  It turned out to be much bigger than I wanted it to be...(not sure how it grew) and yes it has flaws but that's ok cause it's handmade! The backing is a cuddly fleecy blanket that I cut to size and added..the picture doesn't do it justice! I added bias binding to the edges...looks great on the bed!

I Love Us!

I made this very quick card using the bird builder punch...if you are looking for a versatile punch with 1000 ways to use it then this is the one!

Lotus Blossom Sale-a-Bration 2015

This years Sale-a-Bration has now ended but Stampin Up' gave us a great choice of some pretty clever projects....this stamp set was a 3 stage set...and the results were lovely...this was our class project.  We created 3 little note cards and then made a pretty box to pop all the cards in...and we just had to use the 2014-2016 in colour blackberry bliss! A firm favourite with my ladies!

Simply Created Bouquet.....

A while ago on here I showed the simply created bouquet which took time but looks adorable...I held a workshop to demonstrate how to put the different kind of flowers together.  At the end of the project I found I had a couple of flowers left over so I decided to use them as box toppers...cute eh and the boxes are all ready to go (can be found in the annual cataloge!)  I'm sure anyone who received this would be overjoyed just with box let alone what the gift inside was!!!

Painted Petals...

I fell in love with this stamp set as soon as I saw it!  It is from the spring summer 2015 catalogue. The designs are endless and pinterest have had a surge of ideas and designs..... The stamp set
co-ordinates with some beautiful designer series paper...I just wanted to show you a quick picture of what our class was using this stamp set...

Sale-a-Bration..2015

We had a great time during Sale-Bration this year...we had new team members join and everyone enjoyed the freebies that were on offer.  This was just one of the stamp sets that was on offer for free with a £45 spend.  It was very popular and makes a lovely card for any occasion.

Lego Mad!!

I thought it would be fun to make a Lego mini figure card...it was a big hit with my class...they loved it and here is what we made!

Coffee and Friends...

I love this simple easy stamp set...I decorated a take away coffee cup and made a co-ordinating card...lovey little gift you could make if you were meeting a friend for a coffee...putting a little chocolate treat or some coffee beans in the cup would make a thoughtful gift!

Four Feathers Stamp Set....

A home decor project here which was quick and easy...I stamped directly onto the simply pressed clay using the four feathers stamp set and then left it to dry...I then took a Stampin block and my spritzer added some soft sky ink and dragged it over the water colour paper and hey presto you get this great vintage look...the hardest part was waiting for the clay to dry!! Few glue dots and some bakers twine and you are done! Credit goes to Victoria Hayes for this fantastic idea...

Team Gifts for EmmaLou Designs...
